Merit Pharmaceuticals, a leading Short-Line Pharmaceutical Wholesaler of Generic, Ethical, PI and OTC products in Ireland, facing entry into an intensely competitive, highly-regulated and fast-moving industry, chose Brentech Data Systems and its newly-developed application AWARDS-BA³, to provide them with the solution to their Distribution, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) needs.
The Co-operative Pharmacy, is the third largest retail pharmacy in the UK and manages the supply chain for nearly 800 Pharmacy branches in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Having worked with Brentech Data Systems before, and having used AWARDS in a previous warehouse, they decided to again implement AWARDS in their new state-of-the-art National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Stoke-on-Trent, a project which contributed to an increase in profit of £12m per annum.
